Warnings
Overdue, over estimate, unassigned, stalled, or done with children still open — on one tab.
A Warnings tab runs a set of rules over the report's work items and lists what each one matched. Check the rules you care about; each becomes a section.
The rules
| Rule | Matches | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| In progress, no time logged | Work in an in-progress status with no worklog in the last N days | Worklogs to have been loaded |
| Due date passed | Open work whose due date is before today, in the site's time zone | Due dates |
| Estimate exceeded | Time logged is more than the original estimate | Original estimate and time spent |
| Done, but children still open | A parent marked done while something beneath it is not | Jira's parent field (issue-link levels don't count) |
| In progress with no assignee | Someone moved it along and nobody is on it | Nothing |
The number of days for the first rule is yours to set — anything from 1 to 90.
A rule that could not run says so
This is the part worth understanding. "No time logged for 5 days" needs worklogs. If the report never loaded any, the honest answer is "this could not be checked" — not "nothing matched".
Those two produce an identical empty list, and the empty list reads as good news. So RollGrid marks the rule as uncheckable and says why, and the tab does not call the report clean on the strength of a rule that never ran.
The first rule reads worklogs by itself: the last N days of them, where N is the number you set. No Timesheet tab is needed.
Warnings only see the report's own work items
A warnings tab is as wide as its source. If the source is one space, nothing outside that space is checked. Widen the source, not the rules, to widen the net.
