Before you uninstall
Uninstalling deletes every report, share, calendar and cached result. Export first.
Uninstalling RollGrid deletes everything it stored. Report definitions, slices, shares, editors, the working calendar, team maps, leave, settings and every cached result. Nothing comes back on its own if you reinstall, and there is no export afterwards. (Atlassian keeps a soft-deleted copy for 28 days and can re-link it to a reinstall if you ask it within 21 days.)
Do this first
- Export the reports you want to keep — Excel or CSV, one per report. That keeps the numbers, not the report.
- Write down the definitions you would have to rebuild: source, hierarchy link levels, measures and modes, pivot rows and columns. A screenshot of each editor step is enough.
- Note your calendar settings — holidays, teams and leave are the slowest things to re-enter.
- Tell anyone with a dashboard gadget. Their gadgets will stop.
Your Jira data is untouched
RollGrid never writes to Jira. No work item, worklog, field, board or dashboard is changed by installing it, using it or removing it. Uninstalling removes only what RollGrid itself stored.
Personal data
RollGrid stores Atlassian account IDs — in report ownership, shares, team maps and leave — and nothing else about a person: no names, no email addresses. Uninstalling deletes all of it along with everything else. See privacy.
