Terms of use

The terms under which RollGrid for Jira is licensed and used.

These terms cover the use of RollGrid for Jira, supplied by Gold Standard Web LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means accepting them. Purchases made through the Atlassian Marketplace are also governed by Atlassian's own Marketplace Terms of Use, which take precedence over these where the two conflict.

1. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use RollGrid on the Atlassian sites your subscription covers, for as long as that subscription is current. You may not copy, decompile or redistribute the app, or resell access to it.

2. Subscription and billing

Billing is handled by Atlassian through the Marketplace, on Atlassian's terms and billing cycle. Price bands and current pricing are shown on the Marketplace listing. Refunds follow Atlassian's Marketplace policy.

If a subscription lapses, saved reports still open from results already cached. Nothing new is fetched and nothing new is saved until the subscription is active again. Nothing is deleted because of a lapse.

3. Your data

Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership of anything in your Atlassian site and we take no copy of it. RollGrid stores what the privacy page describes, inside your own Atlassian site's app storage. We have no access to it.

Uninstalling deletes everything the app stored. Export first.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use RollGrid to break the law, to breach your Atlassian agreement, or to try to read data in your Atlassian site that your own permissions do not allow. The app is built so that the last of these cannot work, and attempting it is still a breach of these terms.

5. Availability

RollGrid runs on Atlassian's infrastructure and depends on Jira's own availability and rate limits. We do not offer an uptime guarantee, and we are not responsible for interruptions originating with Atlassian.

6. Support

Support is by email, described on the support page. We aim to reply within one business day. Support covers the app's own behavior; it does not extend to your Jira configuration or to other vendors' apps.

7. Warranty and liability

RollGrid is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

RollGrid is a reporting tool. Figures it shows depend on the data in your Jira site and on the permissions of the person looking. Check anything you are going to act on.

8. Changes

We may change these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, after telling you, unless the breach makes immediate suspension necessary.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, unless the law where you are says otherwise.

11. Not an Atlassian product

RollGrid is made by Gold Standard Web LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Atlassian. Jira is a trademark of Atlassian.
